Jacob I. Slone serves as Managing Director and Head of Business Development of HGI. He is a member of HGI’s Executive Committee. Mr. Slone oversees HGI’s global business development and growth initiatives while also managing key investor relations functions. Since joining HGI in 2015, he has held several senior roles across the organization, including overseeing the formation of HGI’s whole loan originations platform, managing the preferred equity and mezzanine debt origination business, and playing a pivotal role in the acquisition of real estate properties globally. Prior to HGI, Mr. Slone served as a trainee in the office of the Global President of Capital Markets at CBRE. He holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Georgetown University and is a graduate of Ner Israel Rabbinical College.
