Matt Grabler is a Managing Director of Acquisitions of HGI. Mr. Grabler is responsible for the sourcing and underwriting of new multifamily opportunities, as well as coordinating due diligence and closing efforts for HGI’s multifamily acquisitions. Mr. Grabler also leads transactions within HGI’s alternative asset platform, which includes the origination of mezzanine loans and preferred equity fundings to 3rd party real estate sponsors and the purchase of mortgage bond B-pieces.

Mr. Grabler started with HGI as a Senior Associate at the beginning of 2013. Prior to HGI, Mr. Grabler was an Analyst at the Praedium Group, a real estate private equity fund based in NYC. Mr. Grabler studied at Duke University where he received his B.A. in Economics. He received his M.B.A. with distinction from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
