Pete Petron serves as Managing Director and is the Head of Asset Management of HGI. He is a member of HGI’s Investment, Alternative Investment, and Insurance Committees. Mr. Petron plays a senior role overseeing the company’s direct equity and alternative investments. Prior to joining HGI in 2015, he was a Managing Director and Head of Portfolio and Asset Management for The Praedium Group, and also held roles at Investcorp, Clarion Partners, Greystone Realty Corporation (a subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Co.), and Citicorp Real Estate. Mr. Petron has a BA from Yale College and a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management.
