Ryan Ambs serves as Managing Director in the Asset Management group for Harbor Group International and is based in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Ambs is responsible for overseeing new investments on the west coast and works closely with Greg Heller to help build Harbor Group’s west coast business and brand. In addition to his west coast responsibilities, Ryan oversees a portfolio of assets across the country in both the multifamily and commercial sectors as well as helps to lead the due diligence efforts on new transactions.

Ryan Ambs began his career at Harbor Group in 2007 and has spent time in both the Transactions group and Asset Management Group. Before relocating to Los Angeles, he spent several years in both the New York office and Norfolk headquarters. Throughout his time with Harbor Group he has worked across all major asset classes and investment strategies deployed by the firm. Mr. Ambs has a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Virginia Tech as well as an MBA from New York University – Stern School of Business.
